Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, in accordance with physician orders.
- Float between units as needed, ensuring coverage across multiple departments.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during imaging processes.
- Maintain accurate charting and documentation within the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide quality patient care during imaging procedures.
- Work scheduled hours from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM, including weekends (Friday through Sunday).
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-ray or Radiologic Technologist license/certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and charting systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience with multiple imaging modalities is a plus.
