Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a rehab and GERI setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico State License as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 1 year of recent SPLP experience in a rehab or GERI setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
- Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards in healthcare settings
