Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Float effectively between Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through attentive monitoring and intervention
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and promptly
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation and adhere to hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start date
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital environment
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience within the past 2 years
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PCCN certification and orthopedic nursing certifications
- Experience float nursing in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Reliable transportation and ability to work every other weekend and holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)

Additional Information
- No block schedules; all shifts are for nights
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly, with next starting date on 11/3
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained and documented
- Complete work history information required for submission, including bed count, facility type, and EMR details
- Reliable transportation is essential; personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended during winter months
