Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, personalized nursing care to medical and surgical patients based on scientific nursing principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications via oral, subcutaneous, IV routes, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and managing illnesses at home.
• Record vital signs, medical information, and interpret electronic displays of specialized equipment.
• Respond to emergent situations, perform bedside care, and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Perform procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure accurate documentation of care.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work dayshift on a 13-week travel assignment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or community hospital environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong time management and bedside nursing skills.
