Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location
• Plano, TX
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatments based on acuity
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient histories, treatments, and outcomes accurately in Meditech or equivalent systems
• Support a patient-first philosophy by delivering compassionate and efficient care
Required Qualifications
• Valid Texas RN license or compact license eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year ER nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to variable patient acuity
• Knowledge of emergency protocols, trauma, stroke, and burn procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ENPC certification
• Experience with Level 1 trauma, stroke, and burn care procedures
• Flexible, positive attitude, and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
