Night shifts, weeknights and weekends, variable schedule, full-time, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient respiratory therapy services in adult, ICU, and emergency department settings
- Deliver care as part of a flexible schedule including weekends; no call responsibilities
- Document all work thoroughly, including facility details, bed count, EMR system, and employment gaps exceeding 30 days
- Complete all required documentation for each employment entry, including work history and skills
- Maintain reliable transportation for travel assignments; personal or rental vehicle recommended with appropriate tires during winter months
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; CRT not accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in inpatient respiratory therapy
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (mandatory)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience highly preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple specialties and diverse inpatient units
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling and acute care needs

Additional Information
- This role requires the start within the next 2 weeks and a license on file at the time of submission
- No block scheduling; shifts are assigned based on facility needs
- Covid and Flu vaccination declinations accepted; proof or declination documentation required

- Transportation: Reliable personal or rental vehicle required; no public transportation available. All vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April.
