- Full-time, rotating shifts (Nights)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy and stem cell transplants (autologous, allogeneic, syngeneic).
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, utilizing Rapid Response Teams as needed.
- Manage and care for central lines, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and blood products.
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and medications following chemotherapy certification protocols.
- Support patients with complex diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other hematologic conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and compliance with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology units
- Chemo certification (must have or be willing to obtain before start)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Experience with stem cell transplant procedures and CAR-T therapy
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Familiarity with central line management, blood draws, and advanced patient care procedures
