Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, mid-shift (Mids), travel-required, onsite

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate and deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring documentation in compliance with policies.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and standards of care, initiating necessary procedures and documentation.
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to LPNs and non-licensed personnel.
• Complete patient education and competency assessments relevant to the specific age group, procedure, or protocol.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years current experience in a large operating room environment.
• Ability to scrub in surgical procedures.
• Valid nursing license for the State of New Mexico or a Compact State.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Epic electronic health record experience (training available on-site).
• Experience in Orthopedics, EENT, or Vascular specialties is a plus.
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least one 13-week assignment.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
