Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown Location Asheville, NC Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting • Conduct neuro and trauma care assessments, and implement evidence-based interventions • Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusions and PCA pumps • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Utilize EMR systems, such as Cerner, to document patient information and track progress
Required Qualifications: • Current RN licensure in the state of NC • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications • Neuro and trauma care experience preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with telemetry and stepdown units • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills
