Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient assessments and critical care within the Endoscopy/PACU unit.
- Manage a busy endoscopy schedule with an average of 30-40 cases daily.
- Support colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy, and other GI procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Collaborate with clinical team to deliver high-quality care and effective patient management.
- Follow facility protocols, including scope processing and use of Olympus equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU/endoscopy experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- EPIC EMR experience.
- Ability to work scheduled hours without holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Endoscopy procedure experience, including colonoscopy, EGD, and sigmoidoscopy.
- Familiarity with medavitor or ERBE cautery systems.
- Experience with Olympus scopes and processors.
