Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for individuals admitted with various medical and surgical conditions, including oncology, with a focus on symptom management and treatment support.
• Monitor patients' cardiac status using telemetry equipment and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications, including blood products, and manage IV access such as ports, PICC lines, and arterial lines.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as chest tube insertion and removal.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and implement fall prevention measures.
• Collaborate within a flexible schedule as determined by the facility, including floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage advanced IV therapies.
• Proficiency in port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, and line care.
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ABG interpretation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Oncology care experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with GE telemetry systems, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds.
