Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assistance to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Assist in evaluating patient progress and documenting therapy sessions.
- Support patients in regaining or improving daily living and functional skills.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure or certification.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Basic knowledge of therapy tools and documentation procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult and elderly populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
