Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized surgical technologist support for Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) cases, including cardiac procedures with call responsibilities.
• Assist with vascular and other surgical cases as needed, supporting the surgical team and maintaining sterile field standards.
• Prepare and set up surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols.
• Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations, performing emergency procedures and responding promptly to call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of surgical technologist experience, with strong CVOR and vascular surgery background.
• Experience working in a cardiac OR setting.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different surgical cases and setups.
• Current Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT preferred but not required.
• Active BLS certification.
• Willing to be on-call and work variable shifts as discussed during interview.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of surgical technologist experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive modules and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to float within scope to support facility needs.

Note:
