- Full-time, travel contract, days shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
- Assist with patient rounds and participate in care conferences.
- Implement treatment plans and provide therapy services in various settings including patient rooms, hallway, outdoor areas, and rehab gym.
- Communicate regularly with the rehab team regarding patient progress, equipment needs, and discharge planning.
- Document patient care and progress using Cerner and NetHealth systems.
- Float between acute hospital, swing bed, nursing home, and outpatient services as needed.
Required Qualifications
- NC Physical Therapy license.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital or nursing home settings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a rehab-focused hospital or nursing home environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to multiple clinical settings.
