Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
- Latrobe, PA
Schedule / Job Type
- Days, Full-time, rotating schedule with every other weekend and holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to patients on a Thoracic Surgery Telemetry floor
- Monitor patient health status and administer treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license in hand
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Prior experience in thoracic surgery is a plus but not required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Telemetry or Medical-Surgical setting
- Knowledge of thoracic surgery procedures and post-op care
