Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a rehabilitation and geriatric setting
- Assist licensed therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans
- Observe and document patient responses and progress
- Support patient mobility and recovery efforts according to established protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- WA Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Minimum of 1 year recent PTA experience in a rehab/geriatrics setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in long-term care or rehabilitation facilities
- Knowledge of GERI-specific therapy practices
