Night shifts, full-time, 3x12s (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, or Stepdown unit.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs, including cardiac telemetry and other specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina nursing license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting; 2 years preferred.
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
- Epic electronic health record experience required.
- Telemetry competency and previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in trauma or community hospital settings.
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Previous charge nurse experience (preferred).
