About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and mobility • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding • Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies • Current state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant • New Graduates are considered for this position • SNF experience preferred • Covid test results required prior to start date • 8 hours of dementia training required
