- Travel, 12-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans to produce detailed images of internal body structures without using X-rays.
- Operate GE Discovery 450 MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, dress code requirements (all black scrubs), and documentation procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Ability to work independently, be flexible, and work nights and weekends as required.
- Critical thinker with adaptability and excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (considered a plus).
- Experience working with GE MRI systems, specifically GE Discovery 450.
- Familiarity with hospital EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
