Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient infusion therapy to oncology patients in a busy 65-chair infusion center.
- Administer intravenous medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patient responses.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural protocols, including BLS certification.
- Transport oncology and bone marrow patients as needed.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Cerner).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Certification in chemotherapy administration.
- Experience with oncology and bone marrow transport.
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in outpatient infusion centers.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient assessment skills.
