Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on the Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and assessment.
- Manage cardiac drips such as Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
- Assist with post-procedure care, including application of TR Bands.
- Float to various acute care units as needed.
- Participate in unit-specific holiday and weekend rotations.
- Attend orientation at the main campus and Olathe facility, including EMR training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license.
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with TR Bands, cardiac drips, and medication initiation procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of Telemetry nursing experience.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Experience working in a nicotine-free facility.
