Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modality treatments under supervision
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient recovery goals
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
- Current state license verification
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols and instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting
- Knowledge of healthcare and safety compliance standards
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
