Job Title
- Multimodality Technician (CT/X-Ray)
Location
- Johns Island, SC
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), including every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality imaging and patient care in both X-ray and CT modalities
- Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and understanding
- Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners
- Adhere to safety and radiation protocols, including proper badge use
- Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records system (EPIC)
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignment to similar units
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology, specifically in CT and X-ray modalities
- Registered in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-C)
- Certified in BLS and ACLS
- Valid radiation badge provided by agency (MUSC does not provide badges to travelers)
- Ability to work 3 consecutive days and overtime if needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams
- Knowledge of Siemens imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) workflow

Additional Details
- Interval of call is required; on-call responsibilities included
- RTO requests must be included at time of submission; approval based on manager/unit needs
- Hospital offers a parking pass for nights and weekends at nominal cost
- Hurricane season may require participation in emergency response activities (June through November), especially during peak months of August and September
Note: All candidates must meet the radius rule (within 60 miles) or be accepted on a case-by-case basis with a reduced bill rate.
