Registered Nurse PACU
Job Title
• Registered Nurse - PACU
Location
• Liberty, MO
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week assignment, days shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-operative and post-anesthesia patient care in the PACU setting
• Float between Pre-Op and PACU departments as needed
• Provide on-call coverage with a 30-minute response time, including selected holidays and weekends
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient transitions and recovery
• Document patient status and interventions accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pre-Op and PACU nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical or hospital environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and department requirements
