Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) – Scrub Certified

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Day shifts with call, flexible hours

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and trauma procedures
• Assist in surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and other CVOR cases
• Ensure aseptic techniques and proper instrument reprocessing
• Document procedures and equipment usage accurately using EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure smooth operative flow
• Maintain readiness for any scheduled or emergency cases during shifts

Required Qualifications

• Scrub experience in an OR setting
• At least 5 years of total CST experience
• 2+ years in cardiac and vascular procedures
• 1+ year CVOR experience
• 1+ year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficient with EPIC charting system
• Experience with cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacement
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and OR equipment
• Ability to work flexibly across various shift hours and call
