Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to neuro and med-surg patients during night shifts.
- Monitor and assess neurological status, perform stroke and neuro assessments, and manage fall risk.
- Administer medications, manage IV pumps, and maintain seizure monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
- Support patients with tracheostomy care and feeding tubes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification.
- Heavy med-surg experience.
- NIH Stroke Certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Neuro-specific experience, including neuro assessments and stroke protocols.
- Experience with trach care, feeding tubes, and neuro patient procedures.
