Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Location: Huntington, WV

Schedule / Job Type: Days, Full-time, Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) labs.
• Monitor and assist patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with medical team to execute diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards specific to cardiac care environments.
• Support post-procedure patient recovery and education.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in West Virginia or a compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab setting.
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts, including one late night per week.
• Willingness to work days, with availability starting ASAP.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in electrophysiology labs is highly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
