Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients during night shifts
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital protocols
- Adapt to floating within scope to meet facility needs, including accommodating block schedules
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee or appropriate state RN license
- ACLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts, including four weekend shifts per schedule period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a Level I Emergency Department preferred
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
