Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Job Title
- Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Manage and monitor fetal heart rates using GE fetal monitoring equipment.
- Perform routine procedures including cervical exams, management of labor, and medication titration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient labor processes.
- Adhere to unit protocols and policies, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Ability to float to postpartum/couplet care units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as a Transition Nurse or Baby Catcher.
- Knowledge of Emergency OB procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple patients in a busy environment.
