Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 3 — 12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care according to hospital protocols.
- Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and other vital signs, ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Complete assessments and participate in orientation, including ECG recognition and medication administration.
- Work during scheduled holidays as required, maintaining professional standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.
- Valid Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
