Key Responsibilities
• Administer safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments, ensuring proper data capture and treatment delivery.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, gather setup aids, and operate complex radiation-emitting treatment units with manual dexterity.
• Monitor patients for reactions during therapy, report unusual events, and reinforce physician advice.
• Maintain thorough treatment and simulation records, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Verify prescriptions, instructions, and patient information, and participate in treatment planning clinics.
• Support ongoing skill development through continued education, competency assessments, and departmental training.
• Participate in clinical instruction, evaluate student progress, and contribute to departmental learning initiatives.
• Complete internal variance reports and adhere to departmental policies on treatment, attendance, and dress code.
• Manage resources effectively and perform additional duties as assigned, including advanced technical procedures and rotations in CT simulation.

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiation therapy program or equivalent.
• Certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure by the relevant state licensing board within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Ability to complete clinical on-call procedures and perform special techniques such as prostate immobilization and electron field templates.
• Experience delivering radiation using active breathing control and multi-isocenter setups for breast, lung, and abdomen treatments.
• Rotation experience in CT simulation, including quality assurance and immobilization device production for various treatment sites.
