Job Title

• Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

Location

• Johns Island, SC

Schedule / Job Type

• Part-time, Day shifts (2x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) with every third weekend required; occasionally on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality imaging procedures in CT and X-ray modalities ensuring accurate images for interpretation
• Effectively explain procedures to patients and address any questions to ensure patient comfort and understanding
• Produce diagnostic images for licensed practitioners' review and interpretation
• Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation guidelines, including use of radiation badges provided by the agency
• float within scope to meet facility needs, including possible coverage of related units

Required Qualifications

• Registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
• Certified in SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT and X-ray modalities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatric, or orthopedic imaging
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment, EPIC and PACS systems
• Prior trauma and level 1 trauma experience preferred

Additional Details

• Must have a radiation badge provided by the agency (MUSC does not provide badges)
• Radius rule: 60 miles; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate
• RTO requests must be included at time of submission; approval based on manager and unit needs
• Guaranteed hours allow facility to call off one shift every two weeks
• Parking available for nights and weekends with a $20 one-time pass
• Hurricane season (June to November) may require participation in emergency response teams; please consider before accepting assignment
