Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, with call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients in the CVOR setting.
• Assist during various stages of cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including day shifts and call duties.
Required Qualifications
• At least 2 years of experience in cardiac and vascular nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience.
• 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular nursing.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
