- Behavioral Healthcare Technician (Tech - Behavioral)

- Full-time, temporary contract; 8-week assignment; Days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to adult patients in an 84-bed facility engaged in detox, residential, and partial hospitalization programs
- Assist with daily patient care, ensuring a respectful and empathetic environment
- Monitor patients actively, maintaining safety without the use of restraints or injections except in extreme circumstances
- Follow facility protocols, including uniform requirements and safety procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff, counselors, and social workers to support treatment plans
- Handle with care and stay active on your feet throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of mental health technician (MHT) experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with addiction treatment protocols and patient engagement
- Empathetic and patient-focused attitude
- Physical ability to stay active during shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in voluntary addiction treatment facilities
- Familiarity with patient safety procedures and monitoring techniques
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
