- Night shift, Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Operate GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) following safety protocols and standard procedures.
- Acquire high-quality MRI images ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Start IVs and perform necessary patient assessments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment in compliance with department standards.
- Document procedures accurately using Epic EMR system.
- Cover outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department cases as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois MRI Technologist license or confirmation of application.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT certification in MRI (RTR MR).
- Knowledge of GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) and MRI safety guidelines.
- Experience with starting IVs and MRI acquisition sequences.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and potential holidays.
- Knowledge of Epic EMR and GE equipment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience assisting MRI radiology teams or with MRI tech assistants.
- Familiarity with operating GE scanners and understanding the department’s imaging protocols.
