Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care to ICU patients according to established protocols and standards
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, ensuring swift intervention when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while observing patient responses
- Document patient care activities thoroughly and maintain detailed medical records
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse license in the state of Illinois
- Proven experience in an ICU setting or critical care environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of ICU equipment and advanced patient monitoring systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working night shifts in a hospital setting
- Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or CCRN
