Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on a 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in respiratory disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy.
• Float between units and hospitals as needed to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Deliver high-quality, specialized care to patients with various lung diseases or injuries.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Active Alabama or Compact Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• At least 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a specialized setting like telemetry or respiratory care.
• Working knowledge of Meditech EMR system.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a telemetry or pulmonary unit.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to float and adapt to different units or hospitals.
