Registered Nurse - Mother Baby/Postpartum
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shift, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in the postpartum and high-risk antepartum units.
• Assist with sterile speculum exams, fetal monitoring, and bedside procedures.
• Manage IV therapy, including central lines (CVC/PICC), syringe pumps, and medication administration such as anticoagulants, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
• Support labor and delivery processes, including circulating during cesarean sections.
• Monitor and care for patients with high-risk conditions such as previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy.
• Handle complex cases involving fetal demise or loss and postpartum mothers with infants in the NICU.

Required Qualifications:

• Active compact RN license or eligible for travel contract if licensed elsewhere (must have been separated for at least 3 months).
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, including experience with C-sections if less than 2 years of experience is present.
• Certification in BLS, NRP, and advanced knowledge of AWHONN standards.
• Ability to float to postpartum units; scrubs provided when floated to labor & delivery.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ACLS certification.
• Experience managing high-risk antepartum patients and complex neonatal cases.
