Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, overnight shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), rotating weekends, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients housed in a 50-bed inpatient substance abuse treatment facility.
• Conduct regular safety checks and monitor client behavior to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with client supervision, belongings, and contraband inspections.
• Support clients in achieving treatment goals through engagement and group facilitation.
• Document observations and client interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and report significant incidents to nursing staff.
• Aid in unit activities including admissions, discharges, and incident reporting.
• Facilitate or support recreational and therapeutic activities, ensuring safety and meeting client needs.
• Provide orientation for new clients and encourage participation in programs.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de-escalation certification (training provided upon hire).
• Experience working with psychiatric or dual diagnosis populations preferred.
• Familiarity with psychiatric treatment approaches is a plus.
• Previous experience in detox or behavioral health settings is preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in inpatient mental health, detox, or psychiatric facilities.
• Knowledge of safety and crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
