Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries, including robotic procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Circulate and, when needed, scrub in surgical procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operating room environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations, including weekend, after-hours, and holiday coverage.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
• 1-3 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum one year of OR nursing experience, preferably in a teaching hospital setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in specialized cardiac, vascular, or endovascular surgery.
• Previous work at a teaching hospital or in a specialty-oriented environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates with recent employment at the facility (within the last six months) are not considered. Candidates should be prepared for weekly orientation sessions and provide their availability for interviews at submission.
