Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess and monitor respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and aerosol medications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and state licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist or in a related specialty.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT certification (NBRC).
- Valid licensed or certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the state of Georgia.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with credentials as an RCP from the Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working within a hospital environment during holiday seasons.
- Ability to work rotating major and minor holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day, as well as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
