Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately using enterprise health systems.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly.
- Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel schedule.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and medical software.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital medical-surgical setting.
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation law and OSHA guidelines.
- Previous experience with case management and patient advocacy.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
