Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts / Full-time, 36 hours per week (following orientation), no guarantee of hours, no call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a 15-bed unit
• Monitor telemetry and interpret telemetry strips to assess patient status
• Administer medications using Meditech charting and Pyxis systems
• Perform procedures such as fingerstick blood sugar testing and BIPAP management
• Utilize continuous cardiac monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii RN license (must be obtained prior to start if not currently licensed)
• Minimum of 1 year recent hospital acute care experience
• Experience in telemetry and progressive care settings preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and ICU experience preferred
• CPR certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
