Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for adult patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units.
- Perform procedures including drip titrations for experienced nurses; float to medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed.
- Utilize equipment such as EPIC, PYXIS medication systems, Philips defibrillators, and bedside monitors.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to monitor patient status and ensure optimal care delivery.
- Adhere to relevant protocols and safety procedures during patient interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU or Med/Surg units.
- Valid RN license for Indiana or a compact license.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with drip titration procedures.
- Comfortable with unit-specific equipment and protocols.
- Ability to float between units and adapt to different patient care needs.
