Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology and medical-surgical patients, including post-surgical and diagnosis-specific care.
- Interpret ECG strips using portable monitors and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias.
- Assess and respond to patient needs, ensuring quality care delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient conditions accurately.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Ability to interpret ECG strips and pass an advanced dysrhythmia test.
- Experience with complex diagnoses such as oncology, post-surgical care, and medical-surgical conditions.
- Must have or obtain provider card and BLS certification.
- EKG competency assessment completed successfully.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with oncology, lymphomas, neutropenia, and related diagnoses.
- Ability to interpret ECG strips periodically in a clinical setting.
