Schedule / Job Type

• 18-week contract, float pool, rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a Level IV PICU setting.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage at sister facilities if required.
• Adhere to clinical protocols for pediatric intensive care, cardiac care, and neonatal intensive care units.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Work 2 out of 3 holidays, including evenings, with some weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience or strong CVICU background with floating experience.
• CA RN license.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Willing to work flexible, rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
• Flu vaccination required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience or extensive floating within pediatric ICU settings.
• Experience with advanced care modalities such as ECMO and heart transplantation.
• Strong pediatric cardiac or neonatal intensive care background.
