Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Huntington, WV
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality inpatient nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during night shifts.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid WV or Compact RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts reliably.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with float nursing or adaptable to different units.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
