Job Title

• IR Tech - Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including invasive monitoring, embolizations, and vascular access.
• Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as ACT, EKOS catheters, ICP monitoring devices, and Lumbar drains.
• Monitor sedated patients, administer sedation medications, and perform patient assessments.
• Start IVs, perform venipuncture, and monitor patient vital signs using EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborate with IR, neuro IR, and vascular surgery teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support for respiratory and anesthesia teams as needed for 24/7 patient stabilization.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IR experience, preferably with neuro IR.
• Recent EPIC experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Valid certificates and references from within the past 12 months.
• Ability to work independently with call responsibilities including one night per week and every 5th weekend.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior trauma level 1 hospital experience.
• Experience with invasive monitoring and complex vascular procedures.
