Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on a 22-bed Medical-Surgical Unit specializing in ICU, PCU, and stepdown care.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs with a focus on burn and reconstructive cases, as well as stroke and cardiac patients in PCU status.
• Perform routine procedures including dressing changes and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using standard EMR systems.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety guidelines, and dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs).

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in PCU, Telemetry, or Medical-Surgical units.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in burn, reconstructive, stroke, or cardiac patient care.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills.
