Schedule / Job Type
Contract, 8 weeks, nights shift, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
- Monitor and assess critical infant conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
- Follow established protocols and safety standards for neonatal care.
- Support families and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Valid RN license in the state of Louisiana.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous NICU or neonatal nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
